Shell Shape Workshop 3 | Draw and Feel the Sea Gallery

2025.3.2(Sun)

10:00~12:00

Lecturer: Hiroko Shimizu (Sea Gallery)

After a lecture on the relationship between shells and fashion, the children explored shell designs in the museum. With the idea of "what if we dressed them up?", they chose their favorite fabrics from a variety of colors and patterns and applied patterns to the shells they had drawn. At the end, everyone shared their creations.

The emphasis was on developing empathy rather than artistic skill, and the opportunity was to draw attention to the wonderful artwork and environment that exists in Tosashimizu.
